7/7/1361, Pre-nuptial settlement. Thomas de Tochewyk de Ovyng and Joan his wife = (1)-(2). Richard de Arches de Edrope [Waddesdon parish, Buckingham] and Maud his wife = (3)-(4). (1)-(2) have granted to (3)-(4) the marriage of Joan their daughter and heir, to marry Nicholas, son and heir of (3)-(4); …  in default of such heirs, to remain to Richard, brother of Nicholas, … (S) UKNA.

Aft. 1364, Richard’s father died.

1384-85, Walter Power, 2nd husband of Margaret, widow of Giles de Arden,  leased her life interest in Drayton to Sir Richard Abberbury. [Son Richard de Arches married Margaret’s granddaughter Joan Arden.]

7/30/1401, Richard Darches Knight of Bukinghamshire a mainpernor for Richard Symeon of Ovynge. (S) CCRs.

11/25/1402, Richard Darches knight and Edmund Hampdene to be paid £24 for 61 days at parliament at Westminster representing Buckingham. (S) CCRs.

9/17/1413, “Gift. Elizabeth Arches, widow … Sir Richard Arches, knight, John Barton junior and John Amcotis … all her lands, etc., in the vills of Codynton and Molyndon … Buckinghamshire.” (S) UKNA.
