If Gilbert and Isabel should die without heirs of body, the moiety and advowson should remain to Isabel's heirs of body; in default of such heirs, to Gilbert's heirs of body; in default of such heirs, to John son of Henry de Burton and his heirs of body; in default, to Peter de Burton and his heirs of body; in default, to Margaret daughter of Henry de Burton and her heirs of body;... 1423, John died.

2/18/1423, Writ of diem clausit extremum, after the death of John Chuderlegh, who held by knight service of the heir of Hugh de Courtenay late earl of Devon, a minor in the king's ward. (S) CFRs.
