chief of the same honour in his bailiwick, namely 2m per shield for the army of

9/28/1229, Fines of the men of the honour of Wallingford
[Oxfordshire.] Henry Foliot, who made
fine by 30m so that he is to be quit of crossing, and for having his scutage
from 2 knights’ fees that he holds of the honour of Wallingford, and from 3
knights’ fees that the heir of Robert son of Aymer, who is in his custody by
