1201, John married Albreda, paying a fine of 60 marks and 1 palfrey for a third of his barony. (S) Gen. and Her. Dic. of the Peerages, Burke, 1846, P290.

1201, Sir John de Ingham of Ingham, Norfolk, paid 60 marks and a palfrey for livery of a third of the barony of Walter Waleran.

1206, John died. Robert de Tateshale gave £100 to have the custody of all the lands of John de Ingham deceased, with the marriage of his heir.

Aft. 1206, Albreda married 2nd William de Boterell who gave to the King, 2 horses for the great saddle, and a Norway goshaw, for license to marry her. [no children.]

Lady Albretha de Boterell' alias de Botereaus, aged more than 60, and Lady Joan de Nevil alias de Novilla [(11817121), d/o Cecilie], aged more than 40, are his heirs. Wilts: Langeford and Grimstede towns, 3 carucates land held of the king in chief by service of 1 knight. Dorset: Pidele Bardolfeston town, ⅓ knight's fee held of Sir Alfred de Lincoln by service of ⅓ knight's fee. (S) CIsPM.

1267, Albreda gave her grandson Oliver (121690520) the manor of Codeford, in Wiltshire.

1270, Albreda died.

7/10/1270, Writ for IPM of Albreda de Boterell. Oliver de Ingeham, aged 40 and more, is her Heir. Wilts: Estgremsted and Westdune. 2 carucates land held of the king in chief by service of 1 knight, worth £10. Hampteworthe. 100 solidates of land … doing scutage pertaining to 1 knight’s fee.
