year. Robert repairs sewing machines. Their daughter Ozzie lives next door at

“Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Dollahite celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary with a
family dinner in the home of their daughter, Mrs. S. E. Dalton, on Sunday,
February 20. Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Dalton Jr. and son, Sammie, came up from Grenada
to help celebrate this great occasion. Besides Mrs Dalton, Mr. and Mrs. Dollahite
have two other children, a son in Memphis and a
daughter in Germany .”

5/9/1950, Robert
died two months after Roxie. He had been in poor health for several years. Robert,
a Methodist, died at the home of his daughter Ozie. He was buried the next day next
to Roxie. (S) Obituary in Memphis

Family notes:
Martha Jane Scott, granddaughter of Robert and Roxie,
told of visiting her grandfather when he was older and making entries in his
JOP registers. He preferred she do it because his hands shook.
