·         [The following ‘Thomas Daunay’ had no son named ‘Roger’, and the eldest was born in 1365 .] “The said Sir Nicholas died 7th of Edward 3, and by Elizabeth, his Wife, had two Sons, Sir John; and Thomas, who married Elizabeth, Daughter and heir of John Newton of Snaith in Yorkshire, Esq; and fixed his Resident at Escrick, where he lived II Rich 2.
