Family notes:

·         The manor of Perry itself, with the mansion and demesne lands round it, descended to Robert Barret, esq. (625056) who died in the 9th year of king Richard II. possessed of Perry court, and of lands likewise at Hawkhurst, leaving two sons, Valentine and John (312528) [grandfather of Robert], the latter of whom, by marriage with Alice (312529), sister and coheir to her brother John de Belhouse, became possessed of Belhouse, in Essex, where his descendants continued for some generations.
