Since Thomasine, wife of son Nicholas, did not
die until 1477, Anne could not be the daughter of Ann Pomery and still fit the
timelines of her descendents. The church of St. Andrew, built in the 13th
century, has only one “ancient” stained glass widow, dedicated to the marriage
of Nicholas Stewkley and Thomasin, d/o John Cockworthy. There is no indication
of a 2nd wife. Anne is more likely d/o Hugh & Katherine. Either
way, the ancestry through Hugh and Katherine is the same.
