[Neither Mary nor Samuel can be found in the 1860 census; bur Mary likely remarried if she was alive and Samuel had passed away.]

• All of the Dollahite families in NC in 1850 are either in Holly Springs, Surrey Co. – 12 families; or Peters Creek, Stokes Co. – 6 families. The 4 oldest living Dollahites, 2 born in the late 1700’s, all indicate they were born in NC.
• A Robert Dallahite is named a guardian to some minors 8/1839 in Yalobusha Co., MS. In 1850, there are “Dollahite” families in Yalobusha Co.; but their origin is through the TN descendents of the NC families.
