• Azaline24iii: The Daily Herald, 3/11/1926: “Died Sunday morning, 8:15, Mrs. Aseline Bosarge, wife of J. E. Bosarge, a native of Alabama, but who had made her home in Gulf¬port and Pascagoula for the last twenty years. She was 82 years, 3 months and 4 days old. She leaves her husband, J. E. Bosarge, and five children to mourn her death. Her sons are Charles and Leonard Bosarge of Gulfport and Garland Bosarge of Pascagoula, and her daughters are Mrs. Florence Beckham and Mrs. Della John¬son, both of Gulfport. She had 29 grandchildren living and 34 great grandchildren. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Rev. P. S. Dodge conducted the funeral services. Interment was made in Evergreen Cemetery.” (Gulfport,Miss.). She was a big woman 6 ft 2 in and weighted 250 lbs. She nursed during the yellow fever and smallpox epidemic about 1865.
