8/24/1860, (S) 1860 Census, MS, GreeCo., Buck Creek PO. Joshua is a blacksmith. His real estate is valued at $200.
Bef. 1870 Joshua died in MS. No record in 1870 Census. Daughter Elizabeth is 10, living with another family. Son Simeon, 15, is a farmhand.
Bef. 1870 Elizabeth died in MS.

• Both children Simon and “Lizzie” are identified in (S) Who Married Whom in PerrCo., 1985, Strickland.
• In 1870 the families seem to disappeared – not uncommon after the Civil War.
